The Thrift Ministry of the House of Prayer is a non-profit resale shop. Our goal is to help alleviate poverty and improve lives of families within our community by offering quality, gently used clothing, furniture, home decor, toys and housewares at extremely low prices. We also accept vouchers to insure no one in our community is without basic clothing and other items.

We work with other groups in our community who will pass along referrals for those in need.
We gratefully accept gently-used donations. We cannot accept all donations, so please see our Donations page for details.
Tax Deductions:
All donations to the House of Prayer Thrift Ministry are tax deductible. Simply ask for a receipt and we will gladly provide one.
Donation Guidelines
To ensure the best use of your items and to prevent costly disposal that takes away from the ministry, we kindly request you review this list prior to donating. Please call 660-214-0341 if you have questions about your donation.
Donations can be made during business hours Tuesday-Friday 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Please DO NOT LEAVE ITEMS OUTSIDE -- this is considered illegal dumping.

We do not accept items that are torn, soiled, stained, excessively worn, and pet damaged.
HELP REDUCE EXPENSES
All donations that the Thrift Ministry can sell and use to help others in need are greatly appreciated. However, when we receive items that cannot be used, we must pay to dispose or recycle them.
